It would have been a 5* rating but our starters were like rubber! We had the Christmas menu on boxing day and our Chicken Skewers tasted like they'd been heated up from the day before. However, our main meals more than made up for it and the staff/service were amazing. I would recommend and would definitely go back.
Had a very enjoyable Christmas lunch here. Food was decent and care taken to get orders right. Staff were very helpful. The venue is excellent.
Thoroughly enjoyed a pre Christmas day family meal here. Setting is stunning, menu delivers on it's promises (despite none of the starters appealing to me personally) and the staff are a delight to be around. Not the cheapest place to dine but I've always found comfort in finding things that are reassuringly expensive. Loved it. I'll be back for more family meals, as well as date night soon enough!
The space is great, staff were very good and the menu was varied. Our roast dinner was poor though, unbalanced in terms of ingredients as too much potatoes (mashed and roast) and too little other vegetable plus the beef was poor. Other people had better meals but I would expect a good restaurant to do better with a staple such as Sunday Roast.
Once again an enjoyable meal here.Despite it being a bank holiday weekend we managed to get a table at this popular restaurant, and even though we were early were shown to our table right away.Our meals were great and service fast and courteous. Our party included our 9 year old grandson who couldn't quite finish his pizza so we asked if he could take the rest home, this request was granted quickly and pleasantly by the young lady serving us.Altogether a very enjoyable experience in a busy place and the bonus was a 10 voucher for next time!
