Very good dentist. I was told by previous dentist's that I could not have a root canal but he managed to save my tooth. Very patient, explained everything and treated my tooth with care and attention. The reception staff and also the dental nurse are very friendly. Would highly recommend this dentist practice.

Horrible experience. Rude staff. Called previous week & explained I was new to the area. Gave details of my private dental insurance over the phone & was instructed to stop by to register which entailed filling out medical history form. As soon as I walked in the door the woman at the front desk assumed I was an NHS patient (based on appearance?) and snarled they weren't accepting new NHS patients without bothering to ask if I had private dental insurance. I informed her I had called earlier in the week, that I have private dental insurance and was instructed to stop in. She gave me a medical history form to fill out and I was half way through the form when she asked me 'what type' of private dental insurance I had. I gave her the name of the insurance company (very reputable) and explained it was provided through my employer. The receptionist snapped 'we don't accept that' with no explanation. When I questioned why, she went upstairs to speak to the dentist. When she returned she abruptly snapped they didn't accept my private dental insurance for absolutely no reason. My private dental insurance is akin to paying cash--hassle free for the dental practice. I pay up front, dental practice gives me an invoice detailing what treatment was provided and that's the extent of their involvement. No hassles for them to chase up payments from the insurance company. Not accepting this type of private dental insurance is akin to a shop not accepting cash at the till. Makes no sense whatsoever and raises questions as to their real motivation for refusing to provide me with dental care since they're obviously taking on new patients with private dental insurance. Would give them ZERO stars if that were possible.
