Excellent service from Andy, managed to fit me in last minute (I was heading to the Alps the next day) but still spent near 4 hours fitting boots to my oddly shapen feet. First day was a bit hellish (as warned) with the new boots but by the end of the trip they were honestly the most comfortable boots I'd ever worn. Thoroughlly recommend.
If you're in the market for ski boots, I would strongly recommend a visit to Graham and Andy at Rivington Alpine - we travelled from Mid Wales and it was worth the journey! Both my husband (who has complex issues with his foot and lower leg health including a number of previous fractures) and I are delighted with the fit of our boots having tried them out on the slopes. The boot fitting itself was an experience - allow plenty of time to get the most out the process - and the aftercare advice given was brilliant. Thankyou!
Top company and second to none service. You want cheap and cheerful then don't come here - they're not wildly expensive but thorough, knowledgeable and determined to get it right for you as an individual. My experience summary is they are very expert, knowledgeable, educational and friendly. Highly recommended!
Never had such a fun time in a ski shop!What a great team. We were given one to one attention for several hours. It was Pie-day Friday and prosecco on tap. Not only that Graham and Andy imparted their absolute expertise and delivered a product and levels of customer service beyond all expectation.I can't wait to get on the slopes now to check out my fab new boots.If Carlsberg did boot fitting. .
Having only had hire boots that caused me pain it is a revelation that you can get boots that don't hurt but also don't move around. I was fitted by Andy - a really methodical process starting with a detailed look and then measurement of feet, ankles and calves. Then trying on and adjusting boots to take into account time when blood pools to the feet. Process was just under 3 hours but at every stage the fit just felt better and better. THANK YOU!
